I found Christopher at one of my darkest times, I was arrested for a dui without any concrete proof that I was under the influence, and while I was getting arrested they illegally searched my car and found a fake I’d. I am also deaf and they didn’t provide me a interpreter. Chris got all of these charges dropped and referred me to his friend who is now doing a civil rights case for me. Tyler Schwenke is a professional and brought clarity to a confusing situation and helped me stay objective and calm throughout. I was dealing with a really emotional and distressing case. “I was charged with a Public Urination ticket (nothing more) back in Memorial Day Weekend 2018 in Scottsdale, AZ in the Entertainment District. Venues did not allow anyone to enter to use the restroom even when trading driver’s licenses because they were at overcapacity. I did my research in finding out what would be the best way to handle this, and every website and local CA lawyer said it would best to try and fight it and not have it on your record. With my research, I found Chris Doran, who had great reviews, and reached out to his firm. From the get go, Chris made sure I knew what I was getting myself into and made sure that I would not be surprised by any outcome. This charge was frustrating, as I have never had a criminal charge before, and I consider myself a good citizen. I was told that this was a Class 1 Misdemeanor with up to 6 months in Jail and up to a $2500 penalty. Most of the time, no one goes to jail or pays more than a minimum charge, but each case is different. If you were publicly intoxicated and publicly urinated, then you might be going to jail. I was also told that a domestic violence charge is easier to remove off your record than it is to remove a public urination charge in Scottsdale… interesting. Anyways, I had this one charge with this major outcome, so I asked Chris what would be the best way to handle this. Chris, again, from the get go, told me that Scottsdale law and policy is so strict with this public urination charge, that unless you have some outstanding medical issue or extraordinary issue that would negate this charge, I, or anyone for that matter, could not try and reverse this. Had it been any other town in AZ, the outcome may have been easier to fight. He asked me to get as many character letters from personal and professional connections. I had 10+ character letters, and that didn’t help at all because the law and policy is already set against us. So I went above and beyond and wrote a 12 page proposal to Scottsdale City Council to efforts to combat this “major issue” Officer Attarpour told me about (the officer that gave me the ticket). Chris and his team (Jessica and Lucille, extremely considerate and responsive) generously presented my proposal to Scottsdale City Council town hall meeting. Even thought some publications and council members agreed on my proposal, my case couldn’t be dismissed because the law was already set. Even my prosecutor was impressed to the point that after I pled, the prosecutor and judge immediately set aside my conviction. I live in Los Angeles, CA so Chris and his team literally represented me the entire time while I was out of state. I don’t know how this will affect me in background checks, but I guess I will find out. A local CA police officer said “It’s a misdemeanor, not a felony, so you’ll me find. Just don’t get in trouble again.” Chris fought for me and this case for 6 months because he believed in what I wanted to do, even while managing my expectations. Thank you Jessica, Lucille, and Chris for helping me out. You all make an exceptional team, but that being said, I hope we never have to work together again (if that makes sense)! Ha! I would always recommend this firm, though, to anyone that experiences this in AZ and needs a legal team in AZ. Chris should be on the Supreme Court.”

I was arrested for misdemeanor DUI and was looking for a good lawyer to represent me. When I went looking around, I found that lawyers were charging way too much until I came across Chris Doran who offered to help me at a very reasonable price. I had never been arrested before, so was very anxious and had a lot of questions. Chris was very kind and patient in clarifying all my questions. Although my BAC was 0.14, Chris negotiated with the prosecutor and got me the lowest fines and just one day in jail. The prosecutor by mistake wrongly filed an additional charge – DUI drugs, although I had no trace of drugs in my blood. Chris and her paralegal Jessica fought hard for several months to get this charged not only dismissed but also sealed.
Chris did all this for a flat fee that was very reasonable. I would recommend Chris anytime to anyone. He takes great care of his clients.

I was out of town working for most of my case but Chris still made it work! He was awesome and catered as much as he could to my very difficult schedule. I was being charged with an extreme DUI that carried a maximum sentence but with Chris’ help we were able to get it plead down to regular DUI only serving less than 1/3 of the jail time and much much lower fines. My experience with Chris Doran, Samantha DuMond and this law firm was such a blessing. I was arrested last year for “Physical Control” of a vehicle.
For those of you who don’t know, this means the state can try to charge you with a DUI even if you were not pulled over by the police. In my case, I had two prior felony Aggravated DUI’s (aggravated because my Driver’s license was suspended and I never hurt anyone). Those DUI’s were 16 years old, but in AZ. there is not a statute of limitations and they can treat your past DUI’s from almost 20 years old as if you committed them yesterday. I did 3 years in prison for my 2nd DUI and Chris Doran got me 3 months in jail!!! I worked with Samantha (who is as sharp as a whip herself) for the first two months and then with Chris for almost a year fighting my case. He worked just as hard or even more diligently than if I had paid a ton of money for a different attorney. Chris Doran explained to me that “people should NOT be judged on the fact that they are not as financially capable as others and that we all deserve to be represented to the fullest capacity and without prejudice.” You can’t get better representation for as low as the price you get at DuMond & Doran, PLLC. I can’t even begin to describe in words the amount of fear, pain, and stress I was under during my case.

Chris did all he could to help my relative with his case. We hired Chris after the first attorney did nothing. Chris picked up the ball and ran with it. Instead of judging the case personally and trying to convince my relative to take a plea deal right away, Chris really researched other cases for this case, to give a great argument to the prosecutor for consideration of a more favorable plea deal, which we received. Not only were his arguments sound on paper, but in the court room he was a polished speaker in front of the judge as well.

I feel Chris did all he could do considering the circumstances, and my relative is so much better off because Chris cared, and fought for him. Chris met with my relative and the family, and was able to convey many of our thoughts and feelings to the prosecutor and the judge at sentencing. I don’t know how much it helped in the end, but it helped show my family how much he listened to us and cared about us and what we were all going through. Christopher Doran is an outstanding lawyer! When I needed someone to fight for me he is someone counted on right from the start. When we first talked to the end, he never stopped caring on how I was or doing. Even when we did not get the first plan of action we still got something we both liked.

We actually started our battle over custody and parenting time with Chris Doran before Shelby Anderson had joined his team as the family law lawyer. This was about 5 years ago and we have been battling the same issue since. Once Shelby joined the firm we transferred right over to her and she immediately go to work. This was a long drawn out and a lot of times very ugly fight. It was not easy, but she took it on and never looked back. She used her knowledge and professionalism as well as a respectful yet firm approach to our opposing party who was not nearly as friendly. We went forward with facts and stayed honest and true throughout our entire fight. She was always available when I needed her for phone calls to explain new situations. She knew exactly what we needed to do to win and never focused on anything other than what would actually matter when it came time for court. She knew it was financially tough for us so she also tried her best to only call or email or file anything when absolutely necessary to keep the cost to it’s lowest amount possible. I can’t thank Chris & Jessica enough for all their help and support through this difficult time. I was in a rear end accident where the driver that hit me fled the scene. After more review we found that the driver was driving on a suspended license and had no insurance. I was so stressed out regarding getting our truck fixed and assisting with my medical expenses. I reached out on Facebook for recommendations in finding a lawyer that will help us out with this dilemma. I have never had to deal with a lawyer regarding an accident and I had no idea what to expect. I received a recommendation from my photographer form our wedding saying that we should reach out to Doran Justice. I did just that, and after our 30-minute phone call I felt such a relief in dealing with Chris. Chris was patient, kind, and reassuring, he took the time to explain in detail the process and what numbers could potentially look at. He also prepared me for the time frame and what the process could look like. He said it can take some time but there are here for us the entire way. My husband and I have been so blessed to have such an amazing lawyer on our side. We were having to go after our own insurance for uninsured motorist and we feared the outcome. I had weekly sessions through a chiropractor and multiple nerve ablations to treat the pain I was in from the accident. I explained to Chris I wanted to make sure we didn’t have to pay any bills out of pocket and was nervous on the medical bills being more than what we could handle.
