Case Evaluation
Morgan was born in Chula Vista, California where she spent the first few years of her life before her family relocated to Glendale, Arizona where she spent the majority of her childhood. Since she was about 12 years old, Morgan had a strong sense of fairness and a passion for justice that led to a deep interest in law and the criminal justice system. She attended Apollo High School and graduated as valedictorian of her class, an all-season varsity athlete, and Prom Queen. Morgan then went on to receive a senatorial recommendation for Annapolis Naval Academy, but instead joined the Marine Corps as an Officer Candidate and attended ASU on the national NROTC scholarship. It was her intention to become a Judge Advocate General (JAG). At ASU she majored in Political Science with a double minor in Sustainability and Military Leadership, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2021.
In 2019 Morgan interned at the Maricopa County Superior Court House in the Law Library where she assisted self-representing litigants as they navigated the challenges of the legal system without an attorney. This solidified her desire to pursue law school through the Marine Corps and eventually become an attorney in the civilian world. A training incident at Officer Candidate School caused Morgan to be medically disqualified from further service in the Marine Corps, but the lessons she learned in leadership, discipline, and professionalism continue to serve her well to this day. After graduating ASU and exiting the Marine Corps, Morgan explored employment outside of her interest areas. She spent some time working as an Alarm Dispatcher for fire and burglary alarms, and then spent a year working in corporate housing as a Hotel Coordinator before finding a home at Doran Justice. These previous positions taught her new lessons in handling high volume caseloads and renewed old ones in interpersonal skills and digital communication.
Morgan began her career at Doran Justice in August of 2022 as a receptionist, then quickly transitioned to the role of paralegal. Working as a paralegal at Doran Justice has opened Morgan’s eyes to the world of criminal defense and ignited a new passion for justice and the field of law. Morgan believes that every day is a new opportunity to change someone’s life for the better, and every client is entitled to the best defense we can provide. Morgan intends to pursue law school in the coming years to become a criminal defense attorney.
In her free time Morgan enjoys a multitude of hobbies, because her favorite hobby is trying new things. Currently, she rollerskates, creates bowls and trinkets out of wood, weightlifts, and creates collages. When not at the office she can be found at the roller rink, or at home spending time with her dog, Pig.
